Thank you for your interest in working at Camp St. Charles! We’re looking for passionate individuals eager to work with and create meaningful summer experiences for children. We are currently accepting staff applications for the 2026 summer for the following positions:

Counselors live in cabins with campers, lead daily activities, and help create a safe, supportive, joy‑filled camp experience. You’re a mentor, role model, and the heartbeat of camp life.
Responsibilities
Supervise and support campers throughout the day and overnight
Lead or assist with activities, games, and cabin routines
Build positive cabin culture and help ease homesickness
Model respect, responsibility, and healthy communication
Ensure camper safety by following all policies and procedures
Participate fully in staff training, evening programs, and camp‑wide events
Requirements
At least 18 years old and able to live on‑site for the full season
Strong communication, patience, and leadership skills
Ability to work long, active days in an outdoor setting
Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive environment
Willingness to put campers’ needs first and work as part of a team
Pay
Base Pay for American counselors is $3,000 for a 9 week contract. Additional pay and bonus for current certifications, years of service and additional areas of responsibility or extended contracts
