A Typical Day
Our days are full of teamwork, exciting activities and opportunities to care for each other. A balance of scheduled events and free choice periods allows campers to customize their Camp St. Charles adventure.

Mixed-Age Cabins
Campers live in traditional, air-conditioned cabins of the same gender with a range of ages from 6–15. This mixed-age model creates a unique family-style environment where siblings and cousins can stay together and older campers naturally mentor younger ones. Many campers return to the same cabin year after year, building strong loyalty and friendships.
Same-Age Teams
While campers live with their cabin, they spend most of the day with their team. Teams are grouped by age and led by team counselors who guide campers through activities, meals, and daily routines.
This structure gives campers the best of both worlds: a supportive cabin community and age‑appropriate programming with their peers. Daily free time and all‑camp events bring everyone together for shared fun and traditions.
Healthy Meals Kids Love
Our kitchen crew prepares fresh, kid-friendly meals three times a day to keep campers fueled for adventure. Campers eat family style with their teams and have a wide-variety to choose from each day including a fresh salad bar. We can also accommodate many food allergies and dietary restrictions.
Faith That Comes Alive
God and Catholic values are the foundation of our entire camp program. From in-house mass and communal prayer at meals to how we treat each other every day, we teach practical Christian values in a fun and meaningful way.
